In this issue of Southscapes, we explore the "Science Behind Your Supper," or exactly what the college is doing to improve food quality. The need for food animals is growing with the population, as is the need for food animal veterinarians. Through an innovative program with the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, CAES is preparing students to fill this need.
