Atlanta's Outdoor Classroom

Right around the corner in Hampton, Georgia, lies Fortson
4-H Center. There are 75 acres of forest, field, pond, and wetlands just waiting for your kids to explore the wonders of nature and get dirty!

Environmental Education Program

We offer engaging and hands-on classes to immerse students in the natural environment to actively apply concepts learned in the classroom. All groups are welcome including public, private, home-based, religious and Montessori schools, as well as clubs and scouting groups. Our calendar open for reservations! We hope to see you at Fortson 4-H Center very soon.

Renting our Facilities

Fortson 4-H Center offers a variety of facilities to suit the needs of many types of groups. Fortson's seven cabins, all with central heat and air and modern restroom facilities, can sleep up to 174 people.
