Annual Peanut Tour

The Annual Peanut Tour is a yearly event sponsored by the Georgia Peanut Commission.  It highlights a cross-section of the peanut industry from field to manufacturing.  The tour is a 2-3 day event beginning with a “Hot Topics” seminar.  Please click the dates below to view the agendas for previous and upcoming peanut tours. Seed Seminar

This is a seed seminar presented at the Georgia Peanut Farm Show. The seed seminar brings together representatives from peanut associations and industry to talk about topics pertaining to the peanut seed.

Southern Peanut Growers Conference

This is a yearly conference held by the Southern Peanut Growers Federation. Click on the links below to gain access to presentations at the conferences.


Peanut Leadership Academy

The Peanut Leadership Academy is a cooperative effort between grower organizations and agricultural extension. The academy is sponsored by Syngenta Crop Protection and the American Peanut Shellers Association. Participants are nominated by agricultural leaders in their counties and then selected by a committee of state leaders.
