Pasture-Based Dairy Summit:
A Training for Extension Agent and Ag Professionals
May 18-19, 2011 | Aiken, SC

The Pasture-Based Dairy Summit was a resounding success! Over 110 service providers were present.

The purpose of this training was to provide a detailed look at how educators and public servants can understand and better serve the emerging pasture-based dairy industry.

This training was for Extension Agents and Specialists, USDA-NRCS personnel, state Agriculture Department personnel, and other agricultural professionals. The training consisted of hands-on demonstrations, farm visits, classroom activities, and peer-to-peer sharing of experiences.

Below are links to the handouts provided in the notebook. The entire notebook can be downloaded by right-clicking here and choosing "Save As" or "Save Target As." Click here to access an archived copy of the Agenda.
